Our work involved the sale and liquidation of the Company's finance unit, involving more than $70 million in assets, and the arranging of a new credit facility to be used as a primary selling tool to the Company's customers going forward.

Marine Midland bank
As Sector Executive for consumer, one of our partners branded private label financing programs for Mazda, Saab, Hyundai, Porsche and others. This involved branding financing packages, establishing dealer programs, marketing and a dealer calling program nationally. Marine was also a founder of Master Charge and operated one of the five largest credit card operations in the USA with leading edge innovation in affinity programs, debit cards, the establishment of the first credit card frequent flier program in a venture with Continental Airlines

HSBC
A partner served on the board of HSBC and its subsidiary Hong Kong & Shanghai Banking Corporation for eight years involving more than 40 visits to facilities throughout the region. Business transactions were handled through this connection with U.S. entities.

The Credit Store
One of our partners served as the non-executive Chairman of this AMEX listed sub-prime credit card compnay issuing Visa and Mastercards through an affiliated national bank.

Kohlberg & Compnay
One of our partners was one of six principals at this well established buyout firm. At the time, the firm had approiximately $600 million under management and made control investments in companies of $40-$100 million.

GECC
One of our partners was the general manager of GECC Financial Services, Inc, General Electrics vehicle in the direct to the consumer lending business. In a finance company structure, this operation had a national distribution system of offices, and dealer network leading the marine and recreational vehicle lending business.

Spencer Trask
Spencer Trask Specialty Group : We provided a comprehensive anaylsis of opportunities facing two particular holdings of Venture Capital firm, Spencer Trask. Our assignments, among other things, encompassed a thorough situation analysis, identification and quantification of challenges, formulation of alternatives versus the current strategy and a go-forward plan for implementation. We have also reviewed and assessed other holdings and opportunities facing the firm from time to time.
